Responsive towards Robotics? Interested in Astronomy? Enthusiastic about Engineering?
Working with NHUSD through the funding of the CaMSP grant, grades 3-8 teachers at Our Lady of the Rosary School will begin their professional development this August around these subjects and much more! The New Haven Unified School District Math & Science Partnership, supported by San Jose State University’s Center for STEM Education, is designed to provide 3-8 grade teachers with professional learning to deepen content knowledge and pedagogy in the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). The program will provide teachers with the opportunity to collaborate and design engaging project-based learning lessons that they can implement in our classrooms. Hands on teaching and learning = life-long knowledge.
